Well, I'll give both suggestions another try (yes it has these 4 switches), but I think I already did this when I first tried to get the monitor to 70something Hz. I also once tried a POWERdisplay 19 too on this machine and it was fine at 77 Hz (is it 77?)... The GXT150M showed the same behaviour. I had one plugged in just to try this.
