Hi Steve, 
one question regarding the monitor in your picture of the 
web-page. Is it an IBM? The case looks like one I have 
here, but mine is labeled by Sun and originally it's a 
Sony GDM17E10 (not so sure about the number, but something 
like that). I'm interested in this since I may set the 
switches on the GXT150 to what I want, it's always running 
at 60Hz refresh rate though the monitor supports more. 
So I'm thinking of that it could be due to some coding of 
the video connector's pins...

one can see that there are some ID/sense pins obviously 
differing between IBM and SUN, so I'd be grateful if you could 
check whether these are just some bridges (to gnd or whatever).
